Roger Smith

Position

Roger is a principal of the Lone Peak Valuation Group and is primarily involved with performing business and intellectual property valuations and computing commercial litigation and intellectual property damages. Roger has a master’s degree in accounting, is a Certified Public Accountant Accredited in Business Valuation, and Certified in Financial Forensics.

Experience

Roger has been an accounting and financial services professional for over 25 years. Roger specializes in the valuation of closely-held businesses and intangible assets for the purposes of acquisitions, sales, purchases, stock options and litigation/dispute support (lost profit claims, intellectual property damage claims, shareholder disputes, etc.).  Roger also performs various accounting/transaction review and analyses. 

 

Roger has testified in federal court, state courts, arbitrations, and has acted as a court appointed expert and a special litigation committee member. Prior to co-founding Lone Peak, Roger worked at LECG, an international financial advisory services company, as a Director. Prior to joining LECG, he was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP.
